Garden Terrace

In May of 2008,  the Owosso Garden Club and many other volunteers showed up to plant our terrace garden on the south side of Mount McCurdy.

Contributions for the sled hill paid for the plantings, but the project could not have happened without volunteer labor. I love it when a plan comes together!

A weed barrier and wood chips were installed, and the plantings were watered down.

Kathryn Gehrs-Pahl of the Owosso Garden Club designed and coordinated the event. Special thanks to Dick Clark for all his help as well!

As always, Corunna Public Works Director Tim Crawford and Administrative Assistant Shaunna Bayless rolled up their sleeves and led by example.

A beautiful addition to an already beautiful park!
