**FRIENDLY REMINDERS**

GRASS AND WEEDS

On property less than one acre in size, grass and weeds must be kept under six inches in length. On a property greater than one acre, grass and weeds must be cut 50 feet from the edge of the street or property line. It is up to the owner of the property to make sure the grass is cut as often as necessary to keep the grass and weeds under six inches. If a property is found to be in violation, you will be tagged and charged a $25 tagging fee, even if compliance is met. If compliance is not met the Department of Public Works will cut the grass and the owner will be billed a violation fee plus labor and expenses. Empty parcels and vacant properties are not immune to city ordinance.

4th OF JULY THANK YOU

The Corunna 4th of July Commission would like to thank everyone that volunteered their time to help on this year’s event.  Whether you were behind the scenes or as big as life out front, we appreciate your commitment to the community and the residents. You make our jobs as commission members worthwhile. We look forward to working with you in the future.

PRIORITY TRASH CARTS
Trash carts are to be put to the curb/road with the handle facing the house. This allows Priority to be able to pick up and dump the carts with their electric arm/handle without breaking the lids having them facing the wrong direction or can cause them to get caught on their trucks arm/handle and causing them to be drug into the road.
