Heritage Park Riverbank Preservation

October 2007 marked the beginning of a volunteer-run riverbank preservation project at Corunna's beautiful Heritage Park.

Over the years, high water flows have been removing the rocks that protect the bank of Heritage Park, resulting in soil erosion and loss of trees in the park.

By moving the natural rock from the river back to the bank, we help preserve the existing bank line and the natural beauty of the park.

Volunteers plan to help out several times a year during low water flows. Future work dates will be posted on this page.
